Forget Me Not childForget Me Not Children’s Hospice delivers outstanding care to children with life shortening conditions and their families in West Yorkshire. Their care is 24/7, delivered not only in Forget Me Not’s purpose built hospice, Russell House, but also in families’ own homes. Their mission is simple – they are here to say yes to children and families.

Forget Me Not currently cares for 162 children with life shortening diseases and their families.

Forget Me Not needs to raise £3.8million each year to cover the running costs of the charity and they receive only 6% of funding from government sources.

It costs £10,410 to fund the running costs of the charity for a day.  On average it costs £15,686 to fund a child for a year.

The Yorkshire Mafia Paris to Geneva

Charity Bike Ride

Now in its THIRD year, the Yorkshire Mafia Charity Bike ride is a great opportunity to get fit, challenge yourself, network with local like-minded Yorkshire business folk and most importantly raise significant funds for several charities.

We are riding for the following causes; Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, Simon on the Streets, St Gemma’s Hospice – Leeds, Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT), Brain Tumour Research & Support Yorkshire (BTRS), Heart Research UK and The Candlelighters.  You can also ride for a charity close to your heart, however they may not be able to offer funded places.

Ways to fund your challenge:

(Choose your funding option in the booking process)

OPTION 1) FUNDED CHARITY PLACE WITH FUNDRAISING TARGET – Pay the £250 registration fee/deposit yourself and then fundraise a minimum of £2300 for the charity of your choice. (Providing you have raised the funds 6 weeks before we leave, the charity you are supporting will pay the trip costs of £1250 on your behalf.)

OPTION 2) SELF-FUNDING WITH SPONSORSHIP – Pay the trip costs of £1250 yourself (inclusive of the £250 deposit/registration fee) and then fundraise as much as you can for your chosen charity, or make a personal donation.

OPTION 3) SELF-FUNDING – Simply pay the trip costs of £1250 yourself  (inclusive of the £250 deposit/registration fee)- no need to fundraise or donate.
