Ride25 Limited (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal information you give us through this website. This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
When you register for a leg we collect your name, date of birth, gender, contact details, passport details, nationality, shirt size, dietary requirements, medical information you choose to tell us, next-of-kin details, travel insurance details and your billing information. If you join our mailing list we collect your email address only.
Why we use it
- To run the leg you have booked, including hotels, transport and border paperwork.
- To keep you safe — medical and next-of-kin details are shared only with our ride team and, in an emergency, medical services.
- To raise and settle your invoice through our accounting system.
- To send you ride information, and marketing only if you have opted in.
Who we share it with
Hotels and local partners on your leg, our accounting provider for invoicing, and our payment provider when you pay by card. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Booking and financial records are kept for seven years to meet UK accounting requirements. Passport and medical details are deleted within twelve months of the end of your leg. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by using our contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the website to work, such as keeping you signed in to the admin area and remembering a booking in progress. We use no advertising cookies.
