Lyra is our newest charity partner from 2025.
Lyra was initially set-up by Maria Spink to build “Hostels” in the grounds of secondary schools in Tanzania. It is based in Iringa in Tanzania, is very similar to 1moreChild in many ways and was set up to enable girls to complete their schooling.
This 4 day trip sees us start with an exciting ride out of Rome along the Appian Way before reaching the West Coast and crossing Italy to the South-East Corner. Read more about the trip here.
With a total of 654KM and 8,196m in climbing– this is another epic Ride25 challenge with the ultimate aim of raising vital funds for 1morechild.
As in all previous Pioneer / Founders trips this is a not-for-profit trip – i.e. the cost is a sum of the direct costs of running the trip with an aim of raising £1,200 minimum per rider.
