Manchester to Paris Charity Ride

forever manchester logo

RMCH-logoForever Manchester and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity have partnered with Ride25 to organise an incredible once-in-a-lifetime challenge to cycle from Manchester to Paris on Wednesday 20th May 2015 – Monday 25th May 2015.

This special event is aimed at everyone, so get a team together from your colleagues, friends and family who may want to enjoy the ride, wine, food and fun (and hopefully sunshine!) with you.  The Manchester to Paris Charity Bike ride is a great opportunity to get fit, challenge yourself, network with local like-minded North West business folk and most importantly raise significant funds for a great charity.

On top of that, everything will be organised for you by Ride25 including all your hotels, ferry trip, support vehicles, meals, snacks… even down to your own personalised cycling shirts, so that all you need to do is enjoy this amazing challenge and ultimately have fun!

Also, for every single person who completes one of our cycling tours, Ride25 will donate a bike to Africa via our corporate charity, Re~Cycle.

3 ways to fund your cycling challenge…

Option 1 – Funded Charity Place with Fundraising Target

Select the charity of your choice and fundraise a minimum of £2300. Providing you have raised the funds 6 weeks before we leave, the charity you are supporting will pay the trip costs of £1350 on your behalf.  Some companies also offer match funded sponsorship for challenge events, so it is well worth asking whether your company supports this kind of charitable scheme.  You will be required pay the initial deposit to secure your place and this will be refunded once you hit the fundraising target.  If you choose this option, please indicate this in the booking form.

Option 2 –  Self Funding with Sponsorship

Pay the trip costs of £1350 yourself and then fundraise as much as you can for the charity of your choice, or make a personal donation.  You will be required to pay an initial deposit of £250 (non-refundable) and then pay the remaining balance 6 weeks before the tour commences.

Option 3 – Self-Funding

Simply pay the trip costs yourself £1350 – no need to fundraise or donate.  You can pay in instalments too if easier for you.  You will be required to pay an initial deposit of £250 (non-refundable) and then pay the remaining balance 6 weeks before the tour commences.  Please get in touch if you wish to do this after paying the deposit.

The Sign up Process…

Once you have decided which option you want to book with, click the “Book Now”  button below, pay the £250 deposit to secure your place (if you are riding for a charity – this will be refunded when you hit the target).

You can select your charity in the signup process, you can pay by PayPal or Bank Transfer whichever is easiest for you.  If you are riding for a charity we will put you in touch with them so they can work with you on ideas to raise the money and smash the fundraising target, if cycling 420 miles in 5 days is a challenge enough to attract the sponsorship – we think it is!
