GET YOUR HANDS ON THE OFFICIAL GRAND DEPART ROUTE MAP!!

Grand Depart Cycle MapImages of the amazing scenery and landscapes of Yorkshire were screened across the world over the weekend when the Grand Depart was hosted in Yorkshire.

Indeed, Gary Verity from Welcome to Yorkshire who secured the bid to bring the world’s greatest cycle race to the county said  that the event was the ‘most fantastic advert for Yorkshire’.

Grand Depart Tour de France cycle mapThe legacy of the event will no doubt live on for years to come and will have inspired many people to attempt the Grand Depart route themselves.
That is why Ride25 were proud to sponsor the official Yorkshire Cycle map which outlines the Grand Depart route plus some interesting information including great photo opportunities so that you can keep some lasting memories of your ride.

This very useful map covers the the first 2 stages of the Grand Depart route.  Stage 1 starts in Leeds and finishes in Harrogate (but try not to have a Cavendish-style crash when you enter the spa town!) and Stage 2 starts in York and ends up in Sheffield.

How do I get my own Yorkshire Cycling Grand Depart route map?

    Hi Luke

To be on the safe side I’d send a large envelope with a large stamp on it. Welcome to Yorkshire haven’t specified on their site.
You can now also download a copy as a PDF which is handy.
